Proper care begins before you wear your leather item for the first time. Ideally, you should waterproof your favorite leather item immediately after receiving it. Tip: First, try it out on a small, invisible spot. This way you can test how the material reacts to the waterproofing spray.

The general rule of thumb is: If it doesn't harm your skin, it's also good for leather care; however, there are specific care instructions for different types of leather that you should definitely follow.
CLEANING SMOOTH LEATHER
Small stains can be easily removed with a damp cloth. To prevent coarse and stubborn stains, it helps to wipe down your leather bag once a week. To prevent the leather from drying out, you should rub it regularly with a special care milk. Avoid using leather grease, as it often does not absorb completely and can lead to unsightly stains on clothing.
Due to its surface structure, suede is probably the most durable leather there is. Light dirt can usually be easily removed with a damp cloth. This leather also benefits from being rubbed with a care lotion from time to time. This way it stays soft and durable for a long time.
Vegan leather is less sensitive to dirt than normal leather. Nevertheless, it benefits from regular cleaning. Simply wipe it with a damp cloth and allow it to dry thoroughly. If it is very dirty, you can also use a soft brush or a sponge with a little washing-up liquid. Special care products for vegan leather also ensure that your bag stays soft and supple. However, you should avoid care products for animal leather, as they do not absorb into the synthetic surface and can leave an unsightly film.
Exotic-looking leather in crocodile and snake look is absolutely on trend this season. Crocodile, snake and co. should be protected from direct sunlight and stored dry in a cotton bag. The leather is relatively easy to clean with a damp cloth. Make sure to brush in the direction of the scales so that the structure is not damaged. To protect the high-quality leather from drying out, rub it with a special leather milk once a year.
Many of our bags have suede inserts on the sides. Like smooth leather, it is also easy to care for. However, it does get greasy easily and we definitely want to prevent that! It is particularly easy to clean suede with a special suede brush. This also removes small stains and dirt. You can also use a leather cleaning foam here.
